AMS-02 实验的 RICH 探测器:现状与物理前景

摘要

阿尔法磁谱仪 (AMS) 的最终版本 AMS-02 将安装在国际空间站 (ISS) 上运行至少 3 年,该探测器旨在测量能量高达 TeV 区域的带电宇宙射线能谱,并具备高达数百 GeV 的高能光子探测能力。它配备了若干子系统,其中之一是带有双辐射体 (气凝胶+NaF) 的近聚焦 RICH 探测器,可提供可靠的粒子速度和电荷测量。AMS RICH 的组装与测试目前即将完成,预计完整的 AMS 探测器将于 2008 年底就绪。本文介绍了 AMS-02 的 RICH 探测器,并简要讨论了其物理前景。
