摘要
量子力学如何能够既是(i)当代物理学的基本理论框架，又是(ii)一种预设了事件（它基于这些事件并为其分配概率）的概率演算？这个问题在不诉诸知识或观察者的前提下得到回答，方法是将两类物理量——无条件确定的量与仅当被测量时才具有值的量——之间的必要区分，解释为显现世界与其显现之间的区分。
