实空间中的量子霍尔相变：从局域态到扩展态

摘要
利用超高真空低温（T = 0.3 K）强磁场（B < 12 T）下的扫描隧道谱学，我们直接探测了跨越整数量子霍尔相变的电子波函数。与理论预测一致，我们观察到从绝缘相中的局域漂移态到量子临界点处的分支扩展漂移态的演化。在扩展态附近观测到的微观行为表明存在局域量子隧穿点，这被认为对于定量描述该相变至关重要。
