强 QCD 区质子的自旋结构函数 $g_2$ 与广义极化率

强相互作用在低能或低动量转移 Q2Q^2 的相互作用下尚不被很好地理解,但我们所拥有的最清晰的见解之一来自手征微扰论(χ\chiPT)。这一有效处理方法给出了核子广义极化率——描述核子对外场响应的基本量——的可检验预言。我们已在预期 χ\chiPT 成立的区域内测量了质子的广义自旋极化率。我们的结果包含了横向-纵向自旋极化率 δLT\delta_{LT} 的首次数据,并首次将极化率 d2ˉ\bar{d_2} 的覆盖扩展至极低的 Q2Q^2。这些结果提取自结构函数 g2g_2 的矩,该量是刻画质子内部自旋结构的量。我们的实验在 Jefferson Lab 进行,使用了极化电子束和极化固体氨(NH3_3)靶。尽管 δLT\delta_{LT} 极化率对高共振贡献的敏感性降低,它仍是 χ\chiPT 难以重现的量;近期相互竞争的计算彼此分歧,并在极低 Q2Q^2 下与测得的中子数据偏离。我们的质子结果为现有计算提供了判别力,并将有助于更好地理解这一强 QCD 区。
