TRIUMF利用超冷中子的精密中子电偶极矩测量

摘要

TRIUMF超冷先进中子(TUCAN)合作组旨在以1027ecm10^{-27}\,e\cdot\mathrm{cm}的不确定度进行精密中子电偶极矩(nEDM)测量,这比当前nEDM上限好一个数量级,并使我们能够检验超对称。为实现此精度,我们正在开发一种利用超流体氦(He-II)中超热UCN产生的新高强度超冷中子(UCN)源以及一台nEDM谱仪。本文报道了它们当前的研制进展。
