GECAM-C 基于 SiPM 的伽马射线探测器(GRD)的性能

摘要

作为 GECAM 任务的新成员,GECAM-C(亦称高能爆发搜寻器,HEBS)是 SATech-01 卫星上的伽马射线全天空监视器,于 2022 年 7 月 27 日发射,用于探测 6 keV 至 6 MeV 的伽马射线暂现源,如伽马射线暴(GRBs)、引力波(GWs)的高能对应体和快速射电暴(FRBs)以及软伽马射线重复暴(SGRs)。连同 2020 年 12 月发射的 GECAM-A 和 GECAM-B,GECAM-C 将极大改善对伽马射线暂现源的监视覆盖、定位以及时间和能谱测量。GECAM-C 采用 12 个基于 SiPM 的伽马射线探测器(GRDs)来探测伽马射线暂现源。本文中,我们首先简要描述 GECAM-C GRD 的设计,然后聚焦于 GRD 的地面测试与在轨性能。我们还对 GECAM-C 与 GECAM-B 的 SiPM 在轨性能做了对比研究。结果表明 GECAM-C GRD 按预期工作,已准备好进行科学观测。
