NIKA2仪器:用于毫米波天文学的双波段千像素KID阵列

摘要

NIKA2(New IRAM KID Array 2)是一种基于千像素动力学电感探测器(KID)阵列、专用于毫米波天文学的相机。其探路者仪器NIKA已展现出最先进的探测器性能。NIKA2在此基础上更进一步,在保持单像素性能不变的同时将总像素数增加了约\sim10倍。在未来十年,该相机将成为位于西班牙内华达山脉的毫米波射电天文研究所(IRAM)30米望远镜的常驻测光仪器。本文概述了NIKA2的主要组件,并描述了所实现的探测器性能。该相机已于2015年10月永久安装在IRAM 30米望远镜上。在经过一年的调试期后,它将于2016年底向科学界开放。届时,NIKA2将成为全球天文学家的基础工具。
