摘要
在翻译生成过程中，水平（自动）和垂直（控制）过程早已被观察和报道。Schaeffer 和 Carl 的监控模型将这两个过程整合到一个框架中，假设启动机制是水平/自动过程的基础，而垂直/监控过程实现了有意识可访问的控制机制。监控模型受到了多方面的批评，在过去几年中积累了一些误解。在本章中，我利用额外的证据更新了监控模型，并论证它与认知的 enactivist 方法兼容。我探讨了与监控模型相关的几个误解。
