摘要

HERMES (High Energy Rapid Modular Ensemble of Satellites) 路径计划是一项基于六颗 nano卫星组成的星座在地球低轨道 (LEO) 上的空间任务。3U 立方卫星将于 2025 年初发射,搭载矿晶漂移探测器/氟化钡 (GAGG:Ce) 矿晶探测器系统的迷你化仪,灵敏于宽能带的 X 射线和伽马射线。HERMES 将与于 2023 年 12 月发射的澳大利亚空间行动智能热力学 (SpIRIT) 6U 立方卫星协同作业。HERMES 将探测明亮的高能瞬态事件,如伽马射线暴 (GRBs),通过三角测量技术确保在数个 steradian 视场内实现快速瞬态定位。HERMES 内在模块化瞬态监测实验代表了补充下一代引力波实验的关键能力。本文概述了该任务的科学论据、开发状况和项目计划。
