量子临界系统的基态

摘要

磁矩在低温下有序化的趋势与传导电子屏蔽这些磁矩的趋势之间的竞争,可能导致在零开尔文发生的相变,即量子临界点(QCP)。到目前为止,这类系统的基态仍未得到解决。我们提出的中子散射实验表明,代表一类QCP系统的样品的基态由传导电子之间的残余相互作用决定,导致具有不相称中程有序的状态。然而,长程有序被量子涨落所阻碍,量子涨落局部破坏磁矩,使系统剩余的磁矩太少而无法实现长程有序。
