宇宙演化图先导巡天

摘要

我们展示了宇宙演化图(EMU)首次先导巡天的数据与初步结果,该巡天使用澳大利亚平方公里阵列探路者(ASKAP)望远镜在 944 MHz 观测。巡天覆盖暗能量巡天所覆盖区域中的 270 \sqdeg,在空间分辨率 \sim 11--18 arcsec 下达到 25--30 \ujybm\ rms 的深度,由此产生一个包含 \sim 220,000 个源的光源表,其中 \sim 180,000 个为单分量源。在此我们给出单分量源星表,以及(在可用时)光学与红外交叉证认、分类和红移。与以往巡天相比,本巡天探索了参数空间的新区域。具体而言,EMU 先导巡天具有高密度源,且对低表面亮度辐射具有高灵敏度。这些特性导致探测到以往巡天中罕见或缺失的源类型。我们在此展示其中一些新结果。
