我们展示了赫歇尔空间天文台SPIRE仪器在250-500微米波段对巨椭圆星系M86的观测结果,并研究了已分辨冷尘埃辐射的分布及其与其他星系示踪物的关系。SPIRE图像揭示了三种尘埃成分:来自中心区域的辐射;一条南北延伸的尘埃带;以及东南方向10千秒差距处的一个明亮发射特征。我们估计大约10^6太阳质量的尘埃与原子氢和电离氢在空间上重合,这些尘埃来源于邻近旋涡星系NGC4438因近期与M86的潮汐相互作用而被剥离的物质。冷气体成分的气尘比范围约为20-80。我们讨论了尘埃特征的不同加热机制。
