摘要
本文提出论据，指出多 pion 衰变 omega -> 2 pi^+ 2 pi^- pi^0 和 pi^+ pi^- 3 pi^0 为检验矢量介子衰变为多 pion 的手征模型预言提供了理想的测试平台。使用基于 Weinberg Lagrangian 的方法，或者用新的语言来说，即添加了由 Wess 和 Zumino 的反常 Lagrangian 所诱导项的隐局域对称性 Lagrangian，本文计算了这些衰变的部分宽度，并获得了它们在 e^+e^- 湮灭中的激发曲线。讨论了在 e^+e^- 湮灭和光生反应中实验研究 omega -> 5 pi 衰变的前景。
