TESS 发现一颗环绕中质量 M 型矮星 TOI-2136 的次海王星

我们报道了 TOI-2136b 的发现,这是一颗次海王星行星,每 7.85 天凌星一颗附近的 M4.5V 型恒星,该发现通过 TESS 任务的光度测量识别。宿主恒星距离 3333 pc,半径为 R=0.34±0.02 RR_{\ast} = 0.34\pm0.02\ R_{\odot},质量为 0.34±0.02 M0.34\pm0.02\ M_{\odot},有效温度为 3342±100 K\rm 3342\pm100\ K。基于档案长期测光,我们估计其恒星自转周期为 75±575\pm5 天。我们基于一系列地基多波段测光、高角分辨率成像观测以及来自 CFHT/SPIRou 的精密径向速度确认并表征了该行星。我们的联合分析揭示该行星半径为 2.19±0.17 R2.19\pm0.17\ R_{\oplus},质量测量为 6.4±2.4 M6.4\pm2.4\ M_{\oplus}。TOI-2136b 的质量和半径与从水冰到气体主导世界的广泛成分一致。TOI-2136b 接近由热驱动大气质量损失模型预测的低质量恒星半径谷,使其成为未来研究其内部结构和大气特性的有趣目标。
