摘要
评估天文设施的影响依赖于对其数据所促成的科学发现的评价。望远镜文献目录将数据产品与文献联系起来，提供了一种使用文献计量学作为基础数据影响度量的方法。本文认为，望远镜文献目录的创建和维护应被视为天文台运行的一个组成部分。我们回顾了支持这些策展活动的现有工具、服务和流程，并估计了维护基于档案的望远镜文献目录所需的工作量和专业知识。
