AMoRE $0\nu\beta\beta$衰变搜索实验的技术设计报告

摘要

AMoRE (Advanced Mo-based Rare process Experiment)项目是一系列使用先进低温技术搜索\mohundred无中微子双β衰变的实验。该工作由来自八个国家的国际研究合作组开展。这些搜索涉及对位于韩国深地下实验室中的超纯\Mo[100]-富集且\Ca[48]-耗减的钼酸钙(48deplCa100MoO4\mathrm{^{48depl}Ca^{100}MoO_4})晶体中辐射引起的温度变化和闪烁光的精密测量。\mohundred核素被选择用于此\zeronubb衰变搜索是因为其高QQ值和有利的核矩阵元。测试表明\camo晶体在所有钼酸盐晶体中在室温和低温下都产生最亮的闪烁光。48deplCa100MoO4\mathrm{^{48depl}Ca^{100}MoO_4}晶体在毫开尔文温度下运行,并通过专门开发的金属-磁量热计(MMC)温度传感器读出,其具有优异的能量分辨率和相对快的响应时间。优异的能量分辨率提供了信号与背景的良好甄别,快响应时间对于最小化由\mohundred核的两中微子双β衰变事件随机符合引起的不可约背景很重要。闪烁光与声子产额的比较以及声子信号的脉冲形状甄别将用于提供对α射线诱发背景的冗余抑制。使用200 kg的48deplCa100MoO4\mathrm{^{48depl}Ca^{100}MoO_4}晶体阵列运行三年,可达到覆盖倒序中微子质量层级预期范围(即20-50 meV)的有效马约拉纳中微子质量灵敏度。
