摘要
本文报道了涉及富集 Mo 闪烁量热器技术的开发,该技术与 CUPID 的目标兼容,CUPID 是一个拟议的用于搜寻无中微子双 beta 衰变的下一代量热实验。已生产出大质量(1~kg)、高光学质量、放射纯净的含 Mo 钼酸锌和钼酸锂晶体,并用于开发基于 0.2--0.4~kg 闪烁量热器的高性能单探测器模块。特别是,钼酸锂探测器在 Mo 双 beta 跃迁 值(3034~keV)附近的能量分辨率为 4--6~keV FWHM。在 2.6~MeV 以上,对 诱导的主导本底的排除优于 8。通过晶锭再结晶,确保了晶体中 Th (Th) 和 Ra 的放射性活度低于 10~Bq/kg。仅用 10~kgd 的曝光量,就证明了富集 Mo 闪烁量热器进行高灵敏度双 beta 衰变搜寻的潜力:以迄今最高精度测量了 Mo 的双中微子双 beta 衰变半衰期, = [6.90 0.15(stat.) 0.37(syst.)] 10~yr。结晶技术和探测器技术均倾向于选择钼酸锂,它已被选用于正在建设的 CUPID-0/Mo 演示装置,该装置包含数公斤的 Mo。
