摘要
我们报道了基于含双β活性同位素 Mo 贫化钼的钼酸锂晶体(LiMoO)的闪烁热辐射计的开发。我们使用了两块 LiMoO 立方样品,边长 45 mm,每块质量 0.28 kg,其制备遵循为 Mo 富集的 LiMoO 晶体双β搜寻实验所开发的纯化和结晶方案。利用锗玻尔探测器记录 LiMoO 晶体闪烁体发射的闪烁光子。测量在西班牙坎夫兰克地下实验室的 CROSS 低温装置中进行。我们观察到 LiMoO 闪烁热辐射计具有优异的能谱性能(在 0.24–2.6 MeV γ 射线处约 3–6 keV FWHM)、中等强度的闪烁信号(依光收集条件约 0.3–0.6 keV/MeV)和高放射性纯度(Th 和 Ra 活度低于几 μBq/kg),可与基于天然或 Mo 富集钼含量的 LiMoO 低温探测器的最佳报道结果相媲美。简要讨论了 LiMoO 热辐射计在稀有事件搜寻实验中的应用前景。
