巡天几何与近期宇宙剪切测量的内部一致性

摘要

我们探讨了在宇宙剪切实验解析协方差矩阵中对形状噪声项典型近似的更新所产生的影响,该近似假设不存在巡天边界和掩膜效应。我们基于巡天掩膜给出了该项中星系对数量的精确表达式,这导致 Kilo-Degree Survey(KIDS-450)实空间宇宙剪切数据在最大测量尺度上的形状噪声增加超过三倍。我们将该解析表达式的结果与几种从数据中测量形状噪声的替代方法进行比较,发现高度一致。对协方差的此次更新解决了先前 KIDS-450 宇宙剪切数据巨大的宇宙学最佳拟合 χ2\chi^2 所表现出的任何内部模型张力。在 118 个自由度下,最佳拟合 χ2\chi^2 从 161 降至 121。我们还对乘性剪切校准不确定性纳入协方差的方式进行了修正。这一改变,连同先前已知的关于数据矢量有效角值的更新,共同将推断的相关函数振幅推向更高的值。我们发现这改善了 KIDS-450 宇宙剪切结果与 Dark Energy Survey 第一年及 Planck 结果的一致性。
