结构光照明显微镜（SIM）已成为三维和活细胞超分辨成像的一项重要技术。然而，迄今为止，尚未有专门的研讨会或期刊专刊涵盖 SIM 的各个方面，从定制硬件和软件开发、商用仪器的使用到生物学应用。本专刊旨在回顾近期进展并概述未来趋势。除 SIM 外，我们还涵盖相关主题，如互补的超分辨显微镜技术、计算成像、可视化与图像处理方法。
