σ共振会议总结报告

摘要
本报告总结了最近在京都汤川理论物理研究所举行的、致力于最近被确认的轻σ共振的会议上的最重要结果。值得注意的是，所有与会发言者都认为轻σ是理所当然的，并提出了许多接近500 MeV的质量和宽度估计。我们强调，如果轻而宽的σ被接受为真正的共振，它将简单解释低能强子物理的许多基本问题，特别是如果使用线性σ模型作为近似的有效低能理论。
