Sr$_4$Ru$_3$O$_{10}$中自旋轨道耦合诱导的范霍夫奇点邻近Lifshitz相变

摘要

费米能附近的范霍夫奇点(VHss)在强关联电子材料的物理中常起显著作用。VHss产生的态密度发散可触发超导、铁磁、变磁性和密度波序等新相的出现。因此,详细理解这些VHss的电子结构对于准确描述此类不稳定性至关重要。此处,我们研究三层锶钌酸盐Sr4_4Ru3_3O10_{10}的低能电子结构,利用角分辨光电子能谱和毫开尔文扫描隧道显微镜识别出丰富的VHss层级。通过kk分辨电子能谱与准粒子干涉的对比,我们确定了VHss的结构并证明了自旋轨道耦合在塑造它们中的关键作用。我们由此建立了一个最小模型,从中识别出在铁磁金属中驱动场致Lifshitz相变的新机制。
