摘要
鉴于球状星系（及其星系台阶）与其中心托管的巨量黑洞之间存在紧密关联的广泛证据，一致的模型必须同时处理这两个组成部分的演化。我们描述了一种可行模型，成功地解释了球状星系的局部光度函数、其光学和化学性质、不同波段的深层星系计数，包括亚毫米波段的计数，这些计数对于当前基于标准层次聚类图景的半声学模型至关重要，SCUBA星系、EROs以及LBGs的聚类性质，以及巨量黑洞局部质量函数和准星类演化。本文还提出了可通过SIRTF等探测器进行的可测试性预测。
