摘要
我们回顾了Brout-Englert-Higgs效应在广义相对论与点状和扩展物体（p-膜，包括p=1的弦和p=2的膜）相互作用中的表现，该效应表现为爱因斯坦方程中出现膜源，而引力子保持无质量（hep-th/0112207, hep-th/0507197及其参考文献），并简要讨论了其与G. 't Hooft最近在[arXiv:0708.3184 [hep-th]]中提出的有质量自旋2场模型的联系和差异。
