加压Ba0.61K0.39Mn2Bi2中稳健的反铁磁性阻止超导电性

摘要

本文报道,在高达35.6 GPa的压力下,K掺杂的BaMn2Bi2在1.5 K以下没有表现出超导电性的实验证据,然而在20 GPa压力下观察到从四方相到正交相的相变。基于我们的高压X射线衍射数据,对四方相和正交相的理论计算发现,在加压的Ba0.61K0.39Mn2Bi2中,反铁磁序在两个相中都很稳健。我们的实验和理论结果表明,K掺杂的BaMn2Bi2属于强Hunds反铁磁金属,具有局域自旋电子和巡游电子的杂化,其稳健的反铁磁序本质上阻止了超导电性的出现。
