LOPES实验的绝对振幅校准修订

摘要

LOPES实验的主要目标之一是评估空气簇射射电信号的绝对振幅。这一点尤为令人关注,因为射电技术基于蒙特卡洛模拟的信号预测,为宇宙线能量尺度提供了一种独立且高精度的测定可能。对于LOPES测量的振幅校准,我们使用了一个外部源。先前LOPES测量与CoREAS预测的射电信号振幅模拟之间的比较揭示出约两倍量级的差异。制造商最近对参考校准源(现已针对自由场)进行了重新测量。更新后的校准值使得LOPES测量的重建电场降低了 2.6±0.22.6 \pm 0.2 倍,从而与CoREAS模拟显著更好地吻合。我们讨论了更新后的校准及其对LOPES分析结果的影响。
