LOPES 3D 重配置与首次测量

摘要

高能宇宙线的无线电探测技术基于带电粒子在地球磁场中偏转时在空气簇射中发出的无线电信号。位于德国卡尔斯鲁厄理工学院的 LOPES 实验凭借其简单的偶极子天线,为该技术的复兴做出了重大贡献。LOPES 工作在 40 至 80 MHz 频段,并经过多次重配置以改进和进一步发展无线电探测技术。在当前设置中,LOPES 由 10 个三极天线组成,可测量来自宇宙线的无线电发射的完整电场矢量。LOPES 是首个同时测量所有三个矢量分量的实验,从而获得了关于电场矢量的全部信息,而不仅仅是二维投影。这种包含垂直电场分量测量的设置预计将提高对倾斜簇射的灵敏度,并有助于增进对发射机制的理解。我们介绍了 LOPES 3D 的重配置和校准程序,并讨论了首次测量结果。
