摘要
随着对最小电离粒子时间分辨率低于 100 ps sigma 的计数器的开发，阻性板室（RPCs）的应用近来得到了拓展。其在高能物理（HEP）实验中的应用已经实现，且许多进一步的应用正在研究中。本工作中我们阐述此类计数器的工作原理及当前的一些挑战，重点在于计数器的老化问题。
