我们概述了如何利用 R*-运算计算费曼图的极点项。我们指出了进行五圈计算时的计算困难，并提供了四种能大幅减少所生成项数的解决方案。利用这些方法，我们计算了含费米子的 Yang-Mills 理论的 beta 函数、电子-正电子湮灭中的 R 比值，以及五圈精度下希格斯到夸克和胶子的衰变。简要讨论了重顶夸克极限下 beta 函数和到胶子的希格斯衰变宽度的结果。在不久的将来无需对这些计算进行六圈扩展。
