完全正性是研究与环境相互作用的量子系统时的普遍假设，但量子演化的非完全正性（称为“负性”）可用作系统 - 浴耦合与关联的度量。负性可以从信道的 Choi 表示中计算得出，始终有定义且有界，可用于理解量子系统中环境诱导的噪声。
