摘要
最近，人们 conjectured 弦论在特定曲面时空几何上的等价于某些规范理论 (AdS/CFT 对应关系)。这种对应关系可用于研究规范理论的非扰动区域。I describe its application to the study of soft scattering amplitudes in a confining gauge theory. I describe two qualitatively different applications: amplitudes with vacuum quantum number exchange (Pomeron-like), amplitudes with Reggeon exchange. The last case requires going beyond eikonal approximation on the gauge theory side.
