利用 MeV 能量极化电子产生高度极化正电子

摘要
在连续电子束加速器装置注入器上进行的“极化电子产生极化正电子”实验,首次证明了极化电子束在高 Z 靶中产生的极化轫致辐射所引发的正电子,能够高效地将极化从电子转移至正电子。在初始电子束动量为 8.19 MeV/c 时,测得正电子极化率高达 82%,仅受限于电子束极化度。该技术将极化正电子的能力从 GeV 能区扩展至 MeV 电子束,并为更广泛的学界打开了极化正电子束物理的大门。
