深浅赤道调查的程序、资源与部分结果

摘要
深浅赤道调查是一个旨在对近赤道区域进行大范围调查至微弱限值亮度（R ~ 24）的项目，以搜寻太阳系外部天体。我们使用 Kitt Peak Mayall 4 米和 Cerro Tololo Blanco 4 米望远镜配备 Mosaic 主焦 CCD 摄像机，收集大量一致的数据样本。我们的目标是收集 500 个轨道良好的天体，以进一步理解太阳系外部结构的动力学特征。该调查自 1998 年起进行，至 2003 年 3 月已负责 272 个指定发现。我们概述技术方法，突出近期结果，描述可公开获取的资源。
