伽马射线暴前身天体的群体合成及其亮度和红移分布

摘要
我们估计了一组演化中的密近双星的相对论性双星并合率及其红移分布的群体合成。此类模拟的结果显然依赖于宇宙恒星形成率历史，而不同星系类型的历史是不同的。这导致螺旋星系和椭圆星系中的并合率存在差异，原则上可以作为GRB模型的观测检验。同时也对BATSE长暴的亮度函数进行了拟合，结果表明只有宽达2-3个数量级的光度函数才能提供良好的拟合。
