众多小行星吸积对单颗白矮星的污染

摘要
基于太阳系小行星带进行外推，我们提出，那些没有红外超的外部污染白矮星，可能正在经历气相物质的连续吸积，而这些物质最终源自多颗小行星的潮汐瓦解。如果该情景正确，那么对金属污染白矮星的观测或许能用于确定系外小型行星群的整体元素组成。
