在 $\sqrt{s_{_{NN}}}$ = 200 GeV 的 Au+Au 碰撞中沿束流方向的 $\Lambda$ ($\bar{\Lambda}$) 超子极化

摘要

sNN\sqrt{s_{_{NN}}} = 200 GeV 的 Au+Au 碰撞中,首次测量了沿束流方向的 Λ\Lambda (Λˉ\bar{\Lambda}) 超子极化。超子相对于二阶事件平面的发射角的极化依赖性表现出正弦调制,表明沿束流方向的涡度分量呈四极矩图样。发现极化在更边缘的碰撞中增加,并且在 pT>1p_T>1 GeV/cc 时没有表现出强烈的横向动量(pTp_T)依赖性。信号幅度比流体力学和多相输运模型的预测值小约五倍;观测到的发射角依赖性的相位也与这些模型预测相反。相比之下,一旦要求该模型再现通过 Hanbury-Brown 和 Twiss 强度干涉技术测量的高斯源半径的方位角依赖性,爆轰波模型计算就能再现数据中测得的调制相位,并捕捉信号的碰撞中心度和横向动量依赖性。
