GRB 020405 后glow 的偏振演化

摘要
报告对 GRB 020405 光学对应物的偏振测量结果并进行讨论。我们的观测是在 gamma 射线暴发现后第二天和第三天使用 VLT-UT3 (Melipal) 进行的。偏振程度(以及偏振角)在两次观测之间呈现出约为 (1.5 - 2)% 的恒定水平。这种偏振可能是固有产生的，但无法明确排除其中相当一部分是由宿主星系中的尘埃引起的。
