高亮度 LHC(HL-LHC)中由堆积引起的本底前景激发了人们对开发用于高计数率下精确计时的带电粒子探测技术的浓厚兴趣。所需的精度直接来源于束团交叉内标称相互作用分布( cm, ps)。20-30 ps 量级的时间分辨率将显著减少这些本底。为此,我们提出了一种称为 PICOSEC 的新探测概念,它基于与切伦科夫辐射体耦合并配备光阴极的“两级”Micromegas 探测器。该新探测器的首批结果对 150 GeV 缪子给出 24 ps 的时间分辨率,对单光电子给出 76 ps 的时间分辨率。
