小金属颗粒的永久极化

摘要
金属纳米颗粒中的电荷密度由于各种不均匀性而波动。虽然在体相中这些波动通过托马斯-费米屏蔽得到补偿，但残余的表面电荷会产生永久电偶极矩。我们证明，该偶极矩随颗粒尺寸线性增加，并在颗粒间强烈波动。
