摘要
我们报道了一种新型环形成像切伦科夫(RICH)探测系统的测试结果,该系统由 3 米长气态 C4F8O 辐射体、一面聚焦镜以及基于滨松多阳极光电倍增管的光子探测器阵列构成。该系统是为 BTeV 实验在 3-70 GeV/c 动量范围内鉴别带电粒子而开发的。
