摘要
异步传输模式 (ATM) 网络正快速被采用作为 Internet 各部分的主干网。本文分析了 TCP/IP 协议在 ATM 网络可用位率 (ABR) 和未指定位率 (UBR) 服务上的性能。结果表明，ABR 将拥塞推送到 ATM 网络的边缘，而 UBR 将其留在 ATM 部分内部。
