摘要
本工作研究亚波长散射体的远场和近场电磁响应的极限，如幺正极限和无损耗散射体的极限，以及有损耗粒子的理想吸收极限。这些极限行为用解析公式描述，这些公式近似有限尺寸效应同时严格包含辐射修正。该分析预测了金属和介电纳米粒子的电和/或磁极限响应，同时定量描述近场增强。
