摘要
在这些讲座笔记中，我们阐述了在几何框架下从额外维度诱导宇宙常数的可能性，其中我们的四维黎曼时空嵌入到一个五维外尔可积空间中。特别地，遵循诱导物质理论的方法，我们展示了当从五维降至四维时，可以在广义相对论的背景下恢复诱导物质理论的诱导能量动量张量加上一个宇宙常数项，该宇宙常数项由体上的外尔标量场决定。
