本文利用 2MASS 和 WISE 的档案数据，对新星和矮新星系统 V392 Persei 的前身星系统进行了讨论。我们发现该系统不太可能包含一颗明亮的红巨星伴星（即共生系统），但不能排除存在较低光度红巨星或亚巨星伴星的可能性。我们注意到，静息态 V392 Per 的光谱能量分布 (SED) 与 GK Persei 相似。
