摘要
本文考察了自然语言处理和大型语言模型（LLM）在军事中的应用及其实现方式，这些技术因GPT（Generative Pre-trained Transformer）的发明以及OpenAI为ChatGPT等进行的大规模基础模型预训练而走红。首先，我们询问基于GPT的语言模型（即Microsoft Copilot），使其透露其关于潜在军事应用的自身知识，然后对获取的信息进行批判性评估。其次，我们研究商业云服务（即Microsoft Azure）如何可直接用于构建此类应用，并评估其中哪些是可行的。我们得出结论，语言模型的摘要和生成特性直接促进了大规模应用，而其他特性可能在特定用例中找到应用。
