On the Darwin Lagrangian

经典物理 2007-05-23 v3

摘要

In this paper we explore some surprising consequences of the retardation effects of Maxwell's electrodynamics to a system of charged particles. The specific cases of three interacting particles are considered in the framework of classical electrodynamics. We show that the solutions of the equations of motion defined by the Darvin Lagrangian in some cases contradict to common sense.

备注

4 pages, LaTeX, I am agree with the remarks of those who say that my methodical references to misprints of founder of Lagrangian and an error of authors of textbook [2] overshadow the main results of my paper. That is why we took away from Abstract and Introduction the reference on some misprints in the paper [1] and textbook [2]. Conclusion, citation and some misprints are corrected
