椭圆 - 旋涡星系并合形成的早型星系中的年老恒星反向旋转成分

摘要
我们通过数值模拟研究了椭圆星系与旋涡星系发生主并合时形成年老恒星反向旋转成分的可能性。结果表明，反向旋转既可出现在耗散性也可出现在无耗散性的逆行并合中，且主要与盘成分的存在有关，该成分保留了部分初始自转。另一方面，由于伴星系施加的潮汐力作用，两个相互作用星系的外部区域获得了部分轨道角动量。
