脉冲星计时阵列实验中对极化随机引力波背景的观测

摘要
我们研究脉冲星计时阵列实验中对极化随机引力波背景(SGWB)的观测。将所观测脉冲星的时间残差表述为沿视线积分,其中纳入了脉冲星项的影响,并由此针对SGWB强度与极化各向异性,用重叠缩减函数(ORFs)构造了一对脉冲星间时间残差的关联函数。我们的表述提供了计算高多极矩ORFs的数值方案,并首次给出了SGWB线极化的最低矩ORFs。
