Gamma 射线源识别的多频率策略

第三类 EGRET 目录中的超过半数来源在其他波段没有确定的对应物，因而是未识别来源。一些未识别来源自首次利用 COS-B 卫星对 gamma 射线天空进行调查以来就一直是谜。未识别来源通常具有较大的误差圆，寻找对应物往往是一项具有挑战性的工作。需要使用 X 射线、光学和射电数据进行多波段方法来理解这些源的性质。本章节综述了使用多波段研究 gamma 射线场识别 EGRET 来源的技术。
