研究未鉴定的 EGRET 来源的主要目标是以几弧分钟的准确度在 EGRET 误差圆内定位硬 X射线/软伽马射线的对应物，或确定其在 INTEGRAL 能量范围内的上限。已对 INTEGRAL 银河平面扫描（GPS）和银河中心深层曝光（GCDE）数据进行分析并与 EGRET 第三目录进行交叉关联，以搜索 EGRET 来源的对应物。 presented of IBIS 在 3EG J1736-2908 EGRET 误差圆内检测到的源及其可能与活跃星系 GRS 1734-292 鉴定的讨论。最后，presented了 EGRET 未鉴定来源与 INTEGRAL 银河中心首批数据交叉关联的初步结果。
